Fostoria Glass was and is very popular. There are seveal hundred auctions for Fostoria active on Ebay at any one time. However, they were in business for a long time and there are thousands of variations of their products. Properly identified pieces are worth more! Accurate identification is hard but the old Fostoria Catalogs reproduced on this site should help.
If you are new to the whole idea of Fostoria identification we suggest you browse through Ebay listings until you find something like what you have. That will give you the pattern names and other vocabulary to look things up in the catalogs on this site. Of course, if you have some experience with Fostoria identification you should go directly to the 1936 catalog or the 1901 catalog.
The 1936 Catalog link takes you to the index pages from the 250 page 1936-7-8 Fostoria catalog. On the index page each of the page numbers is a link to that page. Once on the page you can click the image to see a full size picture of the old catalog page.
The 1901 catalog is smaller and will be the next item we scan and upload.
Below are some random samples of what you can find in the catalog.
